While driving on the freeway last night one of the plastic snout pieces flew off my hood. I'm like WTF was that? There was no chance of going back and finding it because it was on a busy five lane freeway. Now I need to find a replacement and have it painted. Does anyone know who makes the Reflexxions steel cowl hood? I looked for company information on the web but have had no luck. All I can seem to find are vendors that sell the hood. Anyone know who to contact?

I shot them an email. Guess I'll see what happens. It would suck if I had to replace the entire hood.

 

An option if you like the Street Scene Grill is to buy it, and buy the hood inserts to match. Sporttruckdirect.com sells them. I had the same hood, but never got around to ordering them before getting rid of the truck.

 

Their email doesn't work! It says the receivers address no longer exists. Sport truck direct blew me off and said they don't sell the piece seperately. What now??? Any one have any idea where I could get this piece without buying a new hood?

 

hmm that dont sound right, i bought the kit from them but that was bout a year ago. i talked with someone and they said sure well get the kit out and i think it was like 30 bucks. i know u cant talk directly with reflexxions they have no contact number listed. maybe another vendor that carries the hood can help u out

 

that sounds like BS. when i bought my hood, they sent two left pieces (or right, i dont remember) i called them up and told them about it and they next day shipped me the correct side piece. this was about 2.5 years ago.

 

Try www.sporttruckdirect.com thats where I got my hood. Ask them.
