I think AFCO make a double pass unit for the Lightning now as well as a conventional upgrade unit.
There are a few vendors who supply this unit plus a shrouded twin fan kit
as well.

Try www.sporttruckdirect.com they have a fan system called the InterChiller
Looks a good unit, I intend to get one soon to fit my AFCO unit which was originally supplied by JDM two years ago.
JDM also supply AFCO but not sure if they have the double pass one.

So far the biggest one i found is the GordsPerformance heat exchanger.
It's bigger than the Fluidyne, it's measurement is 26" X 9.3" X 2.375"

That comparison is for cobra heat exchangers, the ones for lightnings are a lot bigger.

Custom made ones are by far the largest.

HI!... I modded a POWERSTROKE DIESEL intercooler to fit my F-150 for my T-76 turbo project. Got it off E-BAY brand new for $300(CAN). I believe it measures 30"W X 22"H X 2.75" thick.

If that was a heat exchanger, I would buy one too.

If you are talking frontal area, correct.

But assuming that you are listing overall and not core dimensions, then the Gords is a little wider, but far less deep than either the Afco or the Fluidyne.

Gords = 574 C.I.
Afco = 27.0 X 8.8 X 3.3 = 768 C.I.
Fluidyne = 25.4 X 8.0 X 3.5 = 707 C.I.

It may be that it actually cools better with more frontal area, but less depth, but it's not really fair to call it the "biggest" without explaining the above.
