Moved some weight to the rear.

I spent all day converting my intercooler system. Took off the reservoir, stock ic pump, JL powercooler and my Afco heat exchanger. I bought an aluminum 5 gallon cell with a nice big opening for ice and a Meziere water pump for the bed of the truck. Took 72 lbs off the front of the truck and put 45 in the bed. Here's some pics of the finished product.

New box mounted in the bed.

Heres the Mezire water pump mounted in front of the roll pan. (The hose hanging down is the drain.)

Under the hood.

Where will the heat exchanger be mounted on roll bar? Or completely deleted?

Deleted it all together. Thought about mounting the stock heat exchanger under the bed with a fan but I really don't think I'll need it. I only drive the truck on the street a few days a month and when I do it's locally.

Ahh! I see , she doesnt get much dd duty. Tank looks to be about 6 or 7 gallon capacity anyway, thats alot of room for iceing her down, I think that is a great mod. It should be good for at least a couples tenths or better. Nice job DlrJim. I also like how much it cleaned up the engine bay with better weight transfer to boot. goodmod

You gonna do anything about that extra space in the engine compartment?
BTW, that some nice weight savings and transfer!

Very nice. Where did you get that big opening on your box? I've been looking all over for one. Thanks.
