Calling GNX#424
GNX#424,welcome to the board. I have a friend that just bought an 89 or 88 Trans Am with the turbo V6, white, pacecar, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. It has about 100k miles on it and some mods, supposed to run high 12s. The production numbers were limited ( 400 or so ) I think he paid $8500.00 for it. He lacks knowledge about these cars and always has alot of questions. Is there any web site or any place I could direct him to for answers to his questions and maby some aftermarket products? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Thanks for the welcome. And, yes there are a number of places where your friend can get information about his car and buy parts and upgrades. Following are a list of web sites I suggest:
http://buick.gnttype.org/ This is the Buick Turbo Web Ring and will tell him alot about all the cars with the turbo engine. This is a great place to start and has many links to other sites that will talk specifically about the Turbo Trans Am. It also has lots of pictures.
http://www.kirbanperformance.com/ This is the site for Kirban Performance Products. Dennis Kirban knows more about these cars than almost anyone else. His parts catalog and books are a tremendous resource.
http://members.aol.com/ideapage/poston/index.html This is the site for Poston Performance Products. Their catalog is another one that your friend will want. It has many parts just for the Turbo Trans Am.
http://www.thrasher-ep.com/ This is the site for Thrasher Engineered Perfomance and offers lots of products and information.
http://www.cottonsperformance.com/index2.htm This is the site for Cottons performance products and will also be helpful in finding "go fast" parts for his car.
