Repair Torn Tonneau?

There's now a 3 or 4 inch gash on my factory tonneau. Has anyone tried to repair a tear in one of these? I'm wondering how I'd go about doing it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

No but I'm sure you could take it to a shop that does seat and interior work and they could stick another piece of material under it to keep the stiches from pulling out. You could also look in the classifieds. You might find someone selling one. Artie

The the only vinyl repair kits I could find are for seats and dashboards and stuff. So inspiration hit me, and I bought a vinyl repair kit for pool covers at a pool store. It will definitely be water proof, and should hold up to sunlight, etc... It may not look pretty, but it beats paying for a new tonneau. I'll update when I finish.
