Exclamation Engine Noise

I noticed an engine noise about two weeks ago and made an appointment with the local Ford dealership. The noise sounded like something was loose or rattling; and it didn't happened all the time. They found that one of my crankshaft pulley bolts was missing and another one was loose. They fixed the problem and I haven't heard the noise anymore. Just for everyones info.

I have a slight flutter, only noticeable in quiet areas that seems to be related to turning the wheel. I would think it is a loose belt but it doesn't happen when I crank the wheel all the way, only when I begin to turn it slowly. How loud was your rattle and was it under certain conditions or all the time?

My noise did not occur all the time and it was not very loud. It came and went but I noticed it more when the truck was at idle. Good luck in getting yours fixed.
