An update on Christy and my racing experience
As some of you longer members may remember I had posted a message in regards to Christy and my racing experience from earlier in the year.
If you hadn't read the message it simply state that Christy and myself and 30 others were out watching the stars when we were so rudely interrupted by the local law enforcement. Christy and myself were issue a ticket for aiding and abetting a speed contest (wording taken straight from ticket).
Christy had her ticket dismissed due to the officer writing the wrong date on the ticket, but unfortunately I wasn't so lucky. I plead not guilty to the charge and my court date had been set for early September.
After arriving home today from a very productive day at work I found a letter from the DA waiting on the kitchen table for me. I wondered what the DA had to tell me this time so I picked up the letter and opened slowly.I unfolded the letter inside to read the following.
The court is hereby ordering the dismissal of the complaint against Mr. Burke for the following reasons.
-The DA cannot prove case beyond a reasonable doubt.
As you could have guess I was estatic about the news and you can imagine my delight.
I wanted to take this time to thank everyone who offered help and support in this incident and may god bless you all.
I know I have been wrongly accused many times in my life, but I have always opted to take the easy way out by means of a plea bargain. I have decided that no longer will I take what the state has to offer and its time I start defending my rights. God bless and take care!
