Hey guys, I heard SVT had a drag racing event in Michigan, 150 vehicles showed up and the Lightnings cleaned house. I heard only a couple of Cobras beat Lightnings. Just thought I'd share that with y'all.

I don't know about that event, but if both are stock, the Cobra will edge the L nine times out of ten in the quarter. HOWEVER(I'm putting on my flameproof underwear), it is extremely expensive to get a Cobra from high 13s down to low 13s. With the L, it only takes a filter/chip combo, and then its spank city. The biggest difference for me is in the ease of launching the L vs the Cobra. With the Cobra, you constantly walk a tightrope between wheelhop and bog. With the L you just squeeze the trigger and hang on. I'd much rather take the L than the Cobra to the dragstrip.
Was this the same get together SVT invited all SVT owners to? If I remember correctly, there was a day at the road course and a day at the drags. Did any F150online members go?
