Take a pill already man!!!! You are screwing the board up. Just let the post that has the subject in it stay on the 1st page for a damn minute or two!

You are correct it was. But it is sad that one has to go to such lengths to get some help from people who benefit from this Board, a Board that we are working towards making even greater.

If it takes a little annoying (correct spelling) to get a great job done, then that is what it takes.

We have had a couple L owners e-mail us asking to take a topic to re-search and we do appreciate the help.

We are starting to get L owners e-mailing us to take a topic.

Gordon, Noel and I thank you but we still need more volunteers to give us a hand. Trust us, it will be well worth it.

It is a little ummmm...overwhelming...for lack of a better word. I guess I don't have any room to talk, the 200 post Will you marry me topic will always be legendary for the vets on the board, but still, in every topic? Is that necessary. Just a question.

WhiteLightninSVTGirl

My question to you would be, Why not have a good FAQ section?

There are a number of topics that come up many times a day, a week, etc.. So, why not have them easily found for the new members??? Once it is done, you'll love it!!!

Have you gone to the link above and picked out a topic to re-search???? We sure could use your help.

That was the good side of me. This is the evil side:

ALL OF YOU, GET OFF YOUR LAZY A$$ AND HELP!

FordSales,
I totally respect you guys for doing it and without a doubt if I offended it was not my intention, I just wonder if it is neessary to take up so much room with this. Would I like to help, sure would, but the only thing I am afraid of is making that commitment and then not being able to follow it through. I have a gazillion other things going on right now and I am sure that we will all benefit from your much appreciated effort. Just a little confused about what posts I have read and responded to and those I have not between the 4 computers I use. They are all starting to look the same and FAQ is starting to dominate the board and knock other posts pages back...Thanks

CA,
Noone is trying to disturb the fun post. It's the constant, What chip are you guys using, what airfilter, what tires, pressures, etc. That's what we are trying to get rid of.

Here's my .02 on the subject (and I know by responding I am only adding to the fire).

An FAQ on procedures, like how to install a keypad door handle, changing the factory radio etc. is one thing and is based on facts not opinions. Whereas a topic like chips, would be biased (whether by design or not)toward the chip that the person who wrote the FAQ happens to own. Sorry, but that is the plain and simple truth.

Now on to the subject of whether or not this is getting a little old...I have to agree. I'm tired of seeing the "please update the FAQ post"...it is has already become more annoying that the "what chip is better" threads.

Sorry guys....

I'm putting on my flame suit....as I am sure I will need it.
