Osiris,

Members of this board have created a very extensive FAQ page. I'm sure you can find the answers to your thread questions (0-60, actual 1/4 mi times, aftermarket, problems, yada yada yada.. it can e reached here: http://www.webtechnik.com/lightning/default.htm

Another useful tool if the FAQ doesnt turn up what your looking for is the Search option. I have used it with great success.

F150 vs. Lighting. equates to
cruiser vs. A$$ kicker. to each his own. I prefer to kick a$$.

welcome aboard.

I read that but in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords they said theirs (along with 3 others) ran 13.70 in the 1/4. I was amazed and they had done nothing to it. Completely stock. Then I see people saying it does 14.6, whats the real deal????????

Depending on the Track, The weather and the driver, the typical Lightning will run 13.7-14.5 bone stock. My first run was 13.9.

So the Lightning is capable of killing the Cobra and Camaros and Firebirds, right.

Tip:

Put it in D and leave it there for the 1/4 pass, also, let the tailgate down. What will this run with a good driver?

Thumbs up

Sometimes depends on weather... stock Camaros, firebirds, cobras don't have as much trouble hooking up to pavement as we do. Cobras could go either way, depending on driver and weather... Tailgate down cold dry day maybe 13.8ish, up and warm, humid 14.5ish. Remember run into a cobra on the street you aren't going to be able to run out and drop the tail gate. look into Chip, filter, gears. Have Fun, welcome to the board. Intense Ice???
