I've tried Hoosiers on the back and 22's on the front due to my laziness and lack of time once. I was about 3 tenths quicker (12.60) when I swapped out the 22's in front for the stock 18s and lost the bed cover, tailgate, and speaker box.

i can drive

its been 12.7@107 on nittos with a 2.75 upper (same as a 2lb lower) big cone filter no air box. and a chip. its been 12.83@107 on F1's also

the 12.7 it tapped the limiter on the 1-2 shift due to trans slip. right now its down getting a built trans converter electric fan and a bunch of suspention stuff. im hoping to run a 12.0 on nittos and about 11.7 on slicks.

Well guys Cecil will be MINUS one Gen 1 this year. It seems AFR put the wrong valve guides in my heads. I was having the heads check and decked and I got a call it seems .028 thousands between the valve stem and guide is a TAD excessive. The machinist said he worked on deisel heads with 600,000 miles that were nowhere's near as bad.. imagine when you spin a top as it slows down it starts to wobble well that what all my valve were doing. 3 valve guide seals were off the guide, I mean I can't believe my truck ran as good at it did.. and I didn't see visable smoke.. The valves were seating where ever thy wanted to. I shipped my heads to AFR in California , they have to repair or replace them THEY BETTER OH I ran them for like 1500 miles go figure!!

I have my ticket from the spring event, what time does this start and end? Is there a show this year or is it just racing?

See you guys there hopefully...

Gates open at 8am and racing starts at 9. See you there!

*****BTW Theodore road bridge is closed, you'll have to go past it and turn down the road with detour sign's (forget the name, sorry).

Thanks Pit

Gates open at 8am...

Big thanks to Huffentuff95 for the use of his trailer.

You Da Goods, Buddy!

The only time this Lightning was on a trailer was when it was delivered to Ruffu Ford in the spring of 2000. 72,000 miles ago.

Here's the direction's from SSOTN site,

"Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I was down there yesterday and Theodore rd is closed because the bridge is out. I don't know if it will be done in the next 2 weeks. There are detour signs but in case anyone missed them you go past Theodore about 1-2 miles and look for Washington School House rd on the left. You make a left and that will take you right to the track. Its the street directly across from the Cecil entrance"
