No lights on gauges

Sorry guys, more gauge questions.

I have installed the gauges and they work! The only problem is the lightning doesn't. Is there something I did wrong? They are Cobalt gauges. Thanks!

The lighting is pretty cut in dry, one leg goes to ground the other to a power souce, I chose to go to the dimmer switch so they function like the factory, check Tim Skelton site but I believe it's a red and blue wire.

Wow I feel dumb. The wire tap I used was too big and didn't break to a connection. AND the A/F gauge doesn't even have a light. I've been had! Thanks guys, I'm done bothering everyone for now.
