Well I went and got prices and a little info on the gauges. I was told the Lunar series are on terminal hold (as in don't hold your breath, too expensive to produce). After looking at the product catalog the gauges that most match the L are the ARTIC WHITE With Red Needles. The following prices are for the ARTIC WHITE lited, red needle, 2 1/16, electric (except for boost gauge).
OIL-$53.95(list 67.85), WATER TEMP--$37.95(list 46.40), boost $44.95(list 58.95), Volt--$34.95(lisst 42.15). CARBON FIBER are about 20% higher. I could get prices on any gauge and the only requirement would be we all order Auto Meter at one time so you could get any gauge you want, any style you want.
I am still working on the PRO-M s price.

The new Lunar Series features an electro-luminescent dial face for out of this world lighting at night. During the day it has the traditional Ultra-Lite silver dial face and fluorescent red pointer. At night, the whole dial face lights up evenly across the face with a blue-green light while the numbers and pointer turn black. These gauges are perfect for a custom look in Sport-Compact cars and Street Machines.


The Arctic White series is designed for street rods with a modern or performance style. The White dial face features modern graphics with a race style pointer. A chrome bezel and clear domed lens round out this aggressive style. The pointer is offered in black or the trademark Auto Meter fluorescent red. Also offered with this series is a mechanical boost gauge for cars running blowers.

I like the Phantom Series myself. Got the boost gauge, trans temp gauge, now just need another one to fill up that three gauge piller pod

If we do a group buy with this deal you can buy from anything AUTOMETER makes. It will not be limited to any series. Phantom is fine if thats what you want. further down the road I will make a list and get prices although basiclly we are getting about 20% off. Autometer has a list price section in their online catolog.

Hey Noelvm - Good info to have. I was just sitting here looking through a Summit Racing catalog at Autometer gauges. Their catalog prices are pretty similar to the discount price. Did you get this price info from direct from Autometer? I wonder if it would be worth it to check with Summit and see if we could get a group buy arranged at a better price.

I got the prices from a local speed shop that I know that buys direct. We don't have to pay shipping twice, as shipping from autometer to here is covered, only from here to you. I'll get the Summit prices thou, to keepem jumpin!

I think the Phantom Series match our dash perfectly. They look exactly like the Lunar Series but with a black bezel. It comes with a green cover for the light that matches our dash color perfectly.

All the gauges have lites that need to have their wire and ground taped into the dash liting system so they will come on and dim with the dash lites.

Floyd91 is working on the pillars and should be ready soon.

Ghd lunar had a special liting system that I think was too unstable at an affordable price. The others all seem to have conventional bulb liting. The PHANTOM is very similar to the stock gauges.

I guess the Autometer guys have never met or talked with an L owner. Otherwise they would know that being unstable is part of the fun and that affordability has nothing to do with it when it comes to an L. LOL
