Cool Got my L!!

Just home from the dealer. He made me an offer I could not refuse. Brand new 2000 L for $27,561. He had three, I bought the RED one. Now it's time to start researching mods!!!

If I didn't live in Sothern California, I would be able to get a Lightning for 3 to 5 grand less. Maybe FORDSALES is right...I should buy it out of state and have a helluva roadtrip coming back.

Only problem is that by the time I got it back to California, it would be a USED Lightning!

Nicely done! And welcome to this wonderful place.
First advice to a new owner: Don't look at the fuel gauge unless absolutely imperative.
What you'll see there is rather frightening.

Second piece of advice: Remember that each precipitous drop is merely a reflection of the incredible joy and ongoing adventure this wonderful truck is and will be for a long, long time.

I have been lurking here for quite a while. I sent my Salesman here and he was highly impressed with the knowledge and enthusiasm of the F-150 Online community. I must say this was won of the most trouble free purchases I have ever made the hardest part was choosing the color! I was in and out in under 2 hours. I will be spending a lot of time reading the FAQ in the upcoming days,

Cool

Congradulations on your new life's enjoyment. I'm sure you'll love it.

Hardest thing will be the neighbors telling you that if you wash it one more time, you'll wipe the paint off. hehehe

Enjoy it with care.
