Cool P205/60/R16 Drag Tires for front of L

Hey All,
I have done the FAQ, like a good boy, and am wondering if anyone has done the "DRAG ONLY" smaller(26"), narrower(7), close to same load rating(1740 comp.to 1810 F1s)speed rating( H rating 130 mph) tire up front to:
a) lose weight
b) less foot print and rolling mass.
c) match the Polished Eagle 16"rims I have my M/T 11.5 E.T. Streets mounted on.

What are the PROs and CONS to be considered????
Thanks,
Dan

Hey Dan, The smaller tire will help out at the track, I believe that JIGAWATT was using that size, but not definite.
The weight difference will be well worth it, especially if you have a LEDSLED like me LOL

Hey Dan

I have 215/60/16 these are BFG touring TA's. They are TR4 speed rating. Worked for me. I don't know back to back times with or without them, I know the tire and wheel is a heck of a lot lighter than stock, though. Check out https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/005295.html

Sorry, I couldn't reply earlier. I have a new job and I am over in Seattle (4 hour drive) and I have no access to the internet there. I'll be stuck there for 2 more weeks.

Thanks JIGAWATT for the reply. Today I located a set of"Futura(Kelly Springfield)
215x65xr16. Hr rated @ 130 mph with a load range of 1690 lbs compared to our F1s @ 1810 lbs. Works for me. Now I have 4 Eagle Polished alumunium wheels 16x8s & 16x10s, to mount them on, for the track.
