R/T I was at Milan on wednesday and none of the S/C R/T impressed me. (Nice Guys though) Certainly not yours. Keep trying you might break into the 14's with some cooler weather coming up....

Hi, I think you are a little harsh on R/T. He is acknowledging the fact that he is driving a little, underpowered wannabe that needs many money mods to even stick with a stock L.

Anyway, I know of someone called Jason Brown whose (modified) Lightning runs 7 second 1/4 miles...

R/T > SVT, ever try racing a 5 speed late 80s early 90s 5.0 lx? it will spank you stock for stock..... (the lx coupes weighed an anemic 3000 lbs at most sans A/C). low 14s stock.

RT >SVT
I beat a stock 99? RT last week. It was close but I had two lengths at the qaurter. I get spanked by GTs though and barely outrun the new v6 stangs. You must have the limited edition RT with the viper engine...

i heard that the old 5.0s are fast, if they are running low 14s i guess they're takin stock lightings to huh, look at it this way, i'll admit lightnings are pretty fast, but you guys make'em out to be friggin nascar race trucks, a r/t with just a blower which is at the same level that the lightning is would beat a lightning, so i guess
R/T supercharged > Lightning supercharged.
supercharged you guys are running 14s, supercharged r/ts are running 13s, so dont act like r/ts are like at the bottom of the list of sport trucks, just cuz r/ts supercharged are faster than lightnings

have a look at the timeslips on this board, most stock lightnings post 13.7-13.9 from what I see. I thought the lightnings were overated when I tried it out but I tried a thrashed one. My buddy let me drive his 2000 and it raeffirmed my faith.

NASTRUCK i spank the new mustang v6s so bad they look like they're in reverse, my friend has an escort gt and he spanks v6s they are slow as *****, as for the new gt's, i hear they're pretty quick, but as for the older ones like the 94-97, they propose no threat to me at all, try racing a stock 2001 r/t, they're quick, alot quicker than my 99. and no i dont have a special edition r/t

R/T > svt, dude... I have never seen any L2 go as slow as 14.6. Even on my first trip to the track I pulled a 14.05 with a terrible reaction time and lots of wheelspin on a hot day. Get real. Lightnings ARE the limited edition.

r/t road and track ran a lightning 14.0 @100, hot rod ran one and it was in the 13.7 range. i think you know these trucks are better than 14.6.

Thumbs up

How about a group buy on 10,000 nissan "LE" badges for our "limited edition" trucks so we can get under 14.6.

I was at Milan and saw about 20 or so S/C R/T and hardly any were running under 14. I ran anywere from a 13.8 to 14.3 stock depending on track and weather. Now 12.9 to 13.1 on F1's depending on track and weather. Don't see any S/C R/T's doing that.
zzzzzzzzz.... I am bored now.

Need to go hunting for some 12.8's
