Hey RT > svt,

As my three year old son says "What's wrong with that guy, daddy?"

Just go away. You're boring the hell out of me.

any full size truck going sub 14 is respectable. The thing that I like about the lightning is that it is a factory offering, with warranty and all the expectations of collectibility and place in history. The same cannot typically be said for personally modified vehicles.

Cool

tell your friend, that his highly modified R/T is only now begining to compete with a stock Gen2 Lightning. then tell him, to get in the kitchen and make us some breakfast!

Hmmmm. A kid so wet behind the ears he thinks that magazine times actually MEAN something in real life, and bench races with magazines, and thinks that street racing between two idiot amature drivers is an accurate indicator of how fast the two vehicles are. And then, the cherry on top of the sundae, we've got Lightning owners who think that reaction time affects their elapsed time (hint: the clock doesn't start ticking until you LEAVE the staging beams. You could take a quick nap, eat a little lunch, and catch up on paying your bills sitting at the green light at the track, and still run a 13 in your Lightning). What we have here is a comedy of mis-information. PLEASE END THIS THREAD, IT'S CARRYING THE NEW "CLUELESS" VIRUS. It may just be contagious.

r/t you know what sux.. your buddy chris has a dakota that runs 13.75 @ 102, the thing is featured in hot rot, he probably worked his *** off too afford it and build it and you have turned everyone on this sight against his truck. Kris if you read this..nice truck. By the way that truck has aftermarket: air filter, rocker arms, exhaust, hooker headers, larger throttle body, ignition, alcohol injection. and a heavy modified intake manifold. so whats your point--if you spend enough time and money you can beat a stock lighting. if that is your point i agree. these sights would be no fun if someone didnt stir up some sh*t.
