I was told by Haig Indust. today that they do not sell to individuals. But because they have set up an account with me, they will order and ship a Lightning Mat only if I place the order.

I think one of the reasons that they won't do individuals is because they have an approval by Ford indicating that I am allowed to have the Logo on our mats and they can use the L Logo only under certain situations and Haig Indust. doesn't want to get in deep trouble from Ford by selling L mats with the logo to others.

Before I worked out all the Logo stuff with Haig & Ford, I had talked to another mat co. and I was told by them that they have to pay Ford $60.00 on every mat sold for the use of the Logo. This $60.00 goes on top of the cost of any mat. That is the cost of the mat + shipping and then another $60.00 for Ford.

So my guess is, they are afraid that Ford could come back on them for $60.00 for every mat sold to someone else.

plus, they also only do sell to auto dealers and re-sellers.

So, if you do want a set of mats, e-mail me and I'll contact Haig Indust. for an approval.

Great job Jim! Got my mats today. Glad I ordered two sets. Gray for tailgating and black for formal occassions. Anyone doing a group buy on plastic slip covers to keep them from getting dirty? Once again... Thanks Jim!

You should receive yours at anytime. The mats that were on hold for the eyelets were shipped Friday except the mat going to Canada which was shipped Monday.

Glad to help out L owners.

It was taxing but also a lot of fun. It kept me busy the last few months while I was on a sabbitical from work. If I wasn't busy doing the GP on mats, I might have added even more mods to the L than I did.

JagcLightning - could you post a pic of your dark grey w/ silver thread mats?
i would like to see what they look like before i settle on that color..
i assume you have a silver lightning too.

do you have a pic of those pedals? (i'm about to do a search on them right now)
