Post Leaded 110 VP racing fuel question

How much can you run with cats and O2 sensors and not foul the sensors or f'up the cats. 1 gallon to 5 unleaded, 2 to 5 gallons unleaded etc.....

The unleaded is hard to find around here but the leaded 108/110 is readily available

Thanks.............

i put 5 gallons of 110 in with a half a tank of 93 and it was too much...mixture too hot..100 octane unleaded is perfect if you can find it

When we go to LSr we generally run 5 gallons of 110 leaded to what ever is in the tank, witch id generally arounf half a tank. This will push the octane level up enough to keep it from pinging. Also get alittle more power out of the wet Nitrous shot. Now i cant realy prove it other than e/t's but it does.

I think I ran (2) 5gal jugs of the stuff through my Bassani cats and they are toast. Don't know if that is what killed them, but it sure did not help.

Leaded gas will fry the 02 sensors. LSR only has leaded race gas. I get my unleaded 104 at Bumberas on hwy 6. I mix about 5 gals 104 to 5-6 gals of 93. I'm not sure that more makes any difference. Your truck can only use so much octane. Several discussions here have stated that a mix of more that 96-98 octane is probably wasted. I don't know what they have at HRP. I've never been there. I suspect that the problems now with Jerrods truck may be both the cats and the 02 sensors.
