I have the exhaust rattle but only when the truck is in gear. If I have the truck running but it is in park then the rattle is not present or very quiet. As soon as I put the truck in gear, drive or reverse the rattle can be heard. Does anyone else have the rattle only in gear and not in park?

Mine sounded different in gear than in neutral because the rpm changes. Mine is definatley related to RPM. Sometimes it would only rattle when ideling in gear, now it rattles alot more often

I have the same exact rattle.When you put it in gear either drive or reverse you can here the rattle.Leave it in park its quiet.I believe it might have something to do with the heat shield or the cats are starting to bad on us.I hope we can find this problem,the noise is very annoying!
