Post What E.T.'s Are You Guys Getting With These G-Techs?

I got in on the G-Tech group purchase since I
don't run at the dragstrip, to get an idea of
what my truck is running. Hope it will give
an idea of the improvement of any mods I do.

In stock form it shows 14.01 to 14.10's E.T.,
with PSP filter kit I've ran 13.80 & 13.81 as
best so far (w/wife on board). Truck wants
to spin all the way through 1st gear.

I can relate to the e.t. being fairly close,
but the speeds of 106 to 108 mph I think are
way to high. Just wondering what you other
fellows are coming up with that have compared
this to your drag strip runs.Do you ever run the G-Tech at the same time of your drag strip run?

The times are supposed to be pretty accurate on the g tech. The speeds run about 5 percent high though. I have never run my g tech at the strip but have gotten a best time of 13.15 and I dont remember the speed on the g tech.

I have a couple g-techs and have tested them at the track the results were very impressive.I ran four runs with mine and every run was within a 1/2 to 1 tenth difference from the track e.t.The MPH is about 6 MPH high is what I found on my truck!
My best 0-60 is 4.36 and 1/4 is 12.72 at 115 on drag radials on a very cool night.

-------------
1/4 12.99
MPH 105.90

Thanks, Guys, glad to hear these e.t's are close to actual drag strip. I see the R9 progam coming next, hope to see this G-Tech go below 13.5 then. From what all of you say it is one hellava wake up call for the L.

I hope that they are not all that accurate. I just pulled my chip and 4.10's out, and tested it with a friend's G-tech. It showed a best of 13.91 that suck's, I run 12.80's at the track with 4.10's and chip.

Right now it is in the shop after hitting a 92 F-150 that pulled out in front of me. Then three days later my nice mint 2001 Grand Am rental gets backed into. That makes three acidents (none of which I'm at fault) in my three years of driving. I think I should stay off the road...
Can't wait to see what happens when I get a good car
