Thumbs up VA Motorsports Results

Well, on saturday Chris (Silver 2000) and I met at VA Motorsports for test & tune. We both set new personal records,

Chris 13.25
Me 13.42

You could say that we dominated the street class. Although due to excessive loss of traction, a PT Cruiser gave Chris a tough time. But he pulled it out in the end.

Anyway, I got some good video footage that I am working on converting to avi or mpg, just gotta get the time to finish up.

There is some great footage of Chris racing this guy who's hood comes off at about the 60'. It dangles from the hinge and then falls completely off.

BTW, for mods:

Chris = R9, Pro-M
Me = R9, PSP Intake

Brian,

Had a great time. Tell you what I was little worried when I saw that hood comming off. I was surprised at how well the truck ran. We need to definately get some slicks though. Traction was a problem for you. I think that if I would have lost to that PT Crusier I would have been laughed off the track. The chip was the way to go. I just wish my MPH would have been higher than 101.97

Manganos,

I will probably be going down there this weekend. There was a stong headwind when Brian and I went. I am sure that with a calm day in the 60's I might be able to drop a tenth
