Talking NOLOSENOEL STRIKES AGAIN

Well after last week when the timing systen wouldn't work and nobody got to run only two Lightnings showed probably because of Car Club Sunday this weekend. Well we finished one-two in Street Stock and I was first. A silver L was second. Everybody knows red is the fastest color.

Noel, are you that good, or is your competition that bad?

Are you planning on coming up for the WFC in St. Louis next Spring? I look forward to running with you if you're there.

Hey Noel, If red is the fastest color, Why did my BLACK L with only a R9 & Airaid go a 8.22 when your RED L with more mods only run a 8.44? Lloyd

Well I haven't met John Force in the pits yet, but neither have I met anyone who wanted to loose. Yea the competition isn't what it might be at NHRA tracks, but then I never raced at a track until this year so I think its fair for me. Theres an average of 5-6 runs in eliminations on Friday nite. You have to win them all as there are no "buy backs". When I won Car Club Sunday there were about 100 cars and trucks and I've come to the conclusion the Lord loves legal drag racing because he certainly helps me! I cut a 5.0 lite Friday nite. Too bad it was in practice!!!!!

Thumbs up

Way to go Noel! Now I'm mad I didn't show. I just figured if I took the Bronco, I'd be too tempted to run it. That probably means drive it to the track, tow it home.

Question

What was the temperature and barametric pressure when you got the above time? Friday nite it was 75+ degrees with the wind coming off the Gulf which equals bad air. If we ever get a 50 degree nite with a west wind, I'll run your time but air temp is the big factor in quick times. You got your snow tires on yet. I see it's 20 degrees in Michigan this morning. I'll bet you could get a new best time at that temp if theres no ice on the track. Be careful of water in the burnout box.

LOL, it was 56 degrees, 30.1 baro, 65% humidity. We had a strong headwind so my mph on that run was only 100.21 with a 1307 1/4 (8.22 1/8). I did 2 .504 lights in a row! Too bad tere was no trophys Lloyd

My track announced they would run all winter weather permitting. My 56 degree day will come and then well see what I can do but I don't see a 1.60 60 ft times at my track. they don't have that kind of stick. Even Andre with 410 s and N20 can only turn a 1.80.

O wish our track would do that. Its been in the 20s for a month now, and the first 300' are heated! I know this truck could do 13.4(9) with that temp, since it went 13.603 with 67* and 29.95 pressure.

Wont open until memorial day.
