I thought is was unreal as i saw him....SRT10 on the Autobahn

Friday was the day!

I normally don´t take my truck out for work, but this day i did.
And it was the perfect day!

I went 40 mls. to one of our dealers i work with to get some bricks and insulation stuff.

(Autobahn rules:
Slower vehicles always have to go on the right lanes. Left lanes only for pass other vehicles)

On the way back i changed from the Autobahn 352 to the A2.

There was a Dodge SRT10 single Cab on the middle lane (3 lanes).

He was going around 80 mph.

So i changed from the Autobahn entry lane to the left lane and passed him with WOT to show him a Lightning....

It happened like i wished...

He changed from the middle lane to the left right behind me to follow me.....

I slowed down to around 70 mph because of traffic and he was big in my rearview mirror.

The cars in front of me changed to the middle to let me pass them and i kicked the pedal down.
The guy behind me did the same...

I moved away from him, not fast but he started to get smaller and smaller in the mirror. The windchannel i did doesn´t helped him.

Our speed until next traffic was around 140-150 mph.

Slowed down again to 70 because of traffic and i changed to middle lane to let him pass me...
As he was beside me bothof us gave a thru the window....

So we changed positions...

I was going behind him as traffic was gone....
Both in WOT and i had to move my foot away from pedal several times.

Again up to around 150mph.

Traffic came again and i went to the exit to go back to the right Autobahn exit.

I never thought to get that chance in germany !

Nice! I've had several similar experiences with different cars, most memorable a C6 vette, a Porsche 911 Carrera S (996) and the most pleasurable a Lambo Gallardo. The C6 race was on I95 in the middle of the night and I took the L to what it could do, about 150mph... We gunned it at about 70mph and the
C6 dropped back a few car lengths until we reached 140mph then he started pulling away (drag coefficient of the truck don't help). The 911 incident was one of the first when first buying the truck... again on I95. The 911 came behind me, then passed me full throttle, I did a kickdown, caught up and had to let go of the gas a couple of times so i wont hit him. We went up to indicated 120mph.

Last but not least I got to take on a Gallardo on an empty space on A1A. It was probably an old NFL star or something cruising (big black dude) and I went next to him while already switched to 2nd gear. He had his windows down and heard my exhaust and wanted to race. He passed a car in front and went on the left lane and signaled to me to come next to him. He had the E-gear transmission and I waited him to nail it first, since I had mine already in 2nd gear, we left at around 40-45mph. He nailed it and I gunned it and after giving him the lead, I passed him at about 80mph and went to about a 100 or so. The next light, the guy was shaking his head and asking what I have done to the truck and said it was a bad ****. Made me feel good! I told him i had exhaust and intake (My truck had a 6lb pulley, straight through Magnaflow exhaust, and K&N intake, 400rwhp and 500rwtrq) Can't wait to get the truck back with the new built short block, ported heads, racing cams, and a ported eaton!

IMO the srt-10 is no truck, the L comes with a hitch and tow rating, the srt-10 if memory serves me correct has a 100lbs hauling cap., my escort is rated to haul more stuff than that "truck"
yea i had a L roll my windows down on I-40 between knox and nashville i was in my little old beater and he was towing a frikkin galaxie!!!!! !
