thanks for all in put. Really all Im looking for is a faster daily driver. Maybe go to the track here and there but thanks again for the help.

As for the Eaton, I consider 12psi (+4) the (safe) limit for an unported blower and 14psi (+6) the (safe) limit for a ported blower. Do you feel this way also?

If you're really interesetd in the KB blower and how it compares to other types, the KB website gives you some info.

That seems to be the prevailing wisdom, but I can't definitively agree or disagree.

I will say that it seems beyond dispute that the tune is far more important than the boost. There are plenty of fragged motors that were running only 4 lb pullies. The reason why a 6 lb pulley and above becomes Russian roulette is that the higher the boost, the harder it is to make a "safe" tune. But it still all comes back to the tune.
