A/C lines, more heat exchangers, more load on the A/C system.

IMO just the mere thought of tapping into the vehicles A/C system for a performance gain is worry some; yes ford did it on the Adrenaline Concept but was it the best idea?
Removing the entire A/C system would be of more benefit due to weight savings.

just my experience A/C compressors do not like to spun at High RPM's, I have blown up a couple on my 1995 Supercharged Impala SS, and those are a real PITA to replace.
