The way I see it it only counts if you've done it! I may have a 'Busa that runs 8's but if I've only taken it to a 10.5 then that doesn't mean shyte...

I'd like to know that as well. An 8 sec Busa either has a turbo or 1392 kit with an awesome rider on board.I was able to muster a 9.65 with the best bolt-ons, lowered and an excellent tune. Eight seconds is flyin!

 

I hate to rain on your parade but,that farm truck is a one hit wonder.I got 5k
if you can run that same time and same weight along with JDM and his boys @ FFW in fontana california so, you have a few months to think about it.If you can pull it off not ony will hand you 5k you will earn more than the business you need out west.
As for it being the worlds fastest L i think you should go heads up with the boys in the wild west.that will say it all right there.

actually, my truck is the fastest. It runs 8's...I just haven't gotten it there yet. hahaha, I always wonder about stuff like this. I mean, there's still lots of people who aren't on the boards that could be faster!

 

I actually haven't run it (and at 245 suited I'm not going to keep up with the flyweights on that thing)...was just making a point that just because a vehicle can put up a time does't mean it will. Hell...you could give someone John Force's funny car and they may only be able to pedal it to a 14 second quarter. Bragging only counts if YOU can back it up!

And it's in the middle of a Stage I Ghetto...although the bottom-end's getting Crower rods in anticipation of moving to a Stage II when it doesn't scare me anymore.

Search all you want and all you'll find is me saying over and over that I'll never beat that ET, BUT it did run what it ran and thats something that can never be taking away from it. I'll spray it once or twice to see what ET I can muster from it but after that it's all about 10's off spray, as I continue to say I have nothing to prove, only to enjoy.....
