Thumbs up New Undercover Tonneau Today

After alot of research and help from many of you here a bought and had installed the VersaCover Undercover tonneau today.
I wanted a hard cover but needed to remove it.
Thanks for all the good info and reviews. I think it looks very nice on my DSG.

I guess I don't know how to get the image in the body of the thread!!

Looks good! I love DSG. I'm thinking of getting an '02 DSG Harley as my beater.

I'm the biggest Versacover fan in the world, but that emblem has to go -- stat.

That emblem is a BIG problem here, too.

I wonder if I can get one without the emblem. I would hate to buy one and then ruin it trying to remove the emblem.

The emblem is gone, relocated to inside.

theres the pic for you. Yeah I took my sticker off before the cover was out the door lol.....I love mine....made my decision based primarily on Tims review of it and my own assessment of what I wanted.

The emblem removes easily...yes, however, it left it's impression on mine and the more I tried to clean the residue the worse it has gotton! I've tried everything and nothin works short of painting the whole thing! Fortunately, you have to look at it in a certain light for the impression to be highly visible!

My emblem appeared to come right off, had to fight with a little adhesive. Seems clean.
Do you put any protect it or just leave it alone and wash with mild soap and water?

I really like this cover, very low profile.

I only use normal car wash soap and water, and at about a year now, the cover still looks new.

It doesn't look like it would need more. I expected more of a satin /dull appearance. Mine seens to have a pretty high gloss
which I wasn't expecting but I like it.

Bed rug is next, they hacked up the Ford beg liner a bit to get the front brackets in place. Installation was free where I bought it.
The fit when closed is perfect, I'm impressed!

Neither of mine left any emblem reside.

But based on comments from Versacover about stain removal, I would take a paper towel with motor oil and tape it over the area for a bit. The oil should seep in an liquidate the reside.

[edit: I meant "liquify."]

That's about the only thing I haven't tried!
