LFP's custom mail tunes.

Has anybody used one of LFP's custom tunes? I have a 6 lb lower pulley, airRaid CAI, TR6 plugs , and a predator programmer to install on my 03 L . They said they can supply a custom tune, but was wondering if anyone knows how good they are? I live in Canada so I'm not close to any of the Lightning shops you guys use.

I've yet to hear any feedback from the LFP tunes. That tells me very few have used them.

Look into a PSP custom tune. I have personally seen Sal dyno tune over 50 trucks, and on all but the most radical he is very close on the initial tune.

tune

My advice is for you to call a shop that has a tuning department in there shop ,like jdm.lfp is a ware house.I had horrible luck with them i spent over 3,500 with them. They mean well ,but did more damage than good to me. good luck

Being in the cold canadian air you need to be careful with the 6lber without a maf upgrade. You should get a wideband so you can datalog af and do some datalogging with the predator. Then you can send the data to a tuner for an email tune.

Homer, Mark at LFP has been in the lightning parts game for a long time and while I have read a few negitive posts ( like every vendor has had ) on the whole people have been happy with Mark's service plus his prices are always good Now as for Marks tunes I really don't know much about them, I believe Mark has pretty reciently started offering this service, say within the last 6 months, I've yet to read anything great or terrible about his tunes but in my opinion I'd use a tuner better know for there tuning - JDM, PSP, JL ect.. between these three they've tuned thousands of L's and know how to get the most out there tunes. This is not intended to bash Mark in any way the service that he provides the L community is invaluable and for all I know his tunes could be killer, it just my opinion that if it's my money it's hard to go wrong with one of the big three. Good luck,T

sidenote-There horror stories with every tuner, I'm sure you've read a few, I've used JDM since day one and have always been treated like family(actaully better than my family) and would highly recommend them, I also bought parts from Sal, John, Chickeneers, Mark ect.. and have never had an issue with anyone.

sct 2400 maf

Your stock maf can only measure so mush floe and pegs out and your truck cant self adjust for more air flow the sct 2400 would be a good replacement.I live in maine and one day this winter i ventured out in the cold 9 deg out and got into a race with a new sts and push the truck to full boost 15.5 and didnt break it. It was not smart but i wasnt about to let a gm beat me.so any way try that.

If I add the SCT 2400 Maf, Is it a plug and play install? Or would it need to be set up? Would It also require a new tune? I already got my tune from Johnny emailed to me.
