Is there an advantage to removing the front sway bar ?

The sway bar on the front is off , I'm thinking about putting it back on ( came to me this way ) Why would you take it off ? What does it help to take it off ? Seems like it really affects the handling in the curves ?
Thanks in advance !

People take them off for drag racing. Not having a front sway bar will def. hurt your handeling in a negative way. I would put it back on there if I were you, but I like vehicles that can handle.

Supposedly the main benefit is allowing better weight transfer to the rear for launches at the track.

You give up your cornering though.

Think I'll stick it back on this weekend , I can tell a difference between this L and my last one , I'm sure the 16 inch tires up front with all the extra sidewall flex aint helping a bit either ! I found a new set of 18 x 10 MB's to match the rears , just can't find a chart with the offset #'s ! .
Thanks again for the info .

620 when I bought Red the Bar was also off and WOW did I notice how bad it handled compared to Blacky#1

With a little help from some friends (V) lending me the missing hardware I put it back on and WOO HOO it was back to handling like a L should
