I need some info on these svt lightnings. please help
I was recently talking to an owner of a 2001 or 2002 svt lightning. he was a young guy and when i asked him how much horsepower his truck has.. he quickly said 690 hp to the wheels? Is this even possible with out upgrading the supercharger and if so would the stock tranny even be able to handle this. please let me know if this is possible without a new supercharger or ANY internals. cuz i know for a fact he has changed no internals of the engine and no tranny. so at most hes got a cold air intake, new exhaust system and a tuner. can that stuff make that power.. please let me know before i head to the line with the guy!

He doesn't have that much power without being fully built and without having an upgraded power adder (kenne bell, whipple, nitrous, and/or turbo). What are you running? Reason being is with just a tune and pulley change your easily looking at a 12 sec truck that will hand most anything its a$$ on the street. Especially from a dig. Good Luck.

He's probebly a stupid ricer who owns a Lightning somehow, does he hang out with the ricers?
And when you hit the NOS everything goes blurry when your doing 85 mph right?
