Truck died while moving at freeway speed...
Title says it all. I am heading to work this morning, going about 55 on a 3 lane road, and suddenly the gauges sweep up to half way(both tach and speedometer), flutter there for a sec, then dropped - and the engine died. The 'Theft' light was blipping. So suddenly I am driving this huge truck in traffic with no engine, no power brakes, and no power steering. I tried restarting it while coasting but no luck. I wrestled it into a parking lot, where I removed the key, put it back in and it started back up. Any thoughts? Great way to start a weekend. Glad its not icy down here anymore!

it came slightly loose, re-install it.
put a piece of thin cardboard, so that it fits flush against the "puter", then duct tape the sh*t out of it. make sure you install the puter back properly with the clip and make sure you bend that metal bracket out of the way, that might be putting pressure on the chip.

Mine shut off once right after I installed the R9 chip (luckily, in my driveway). The chip wasn't loose, but the metal edge of the computer bracket had slid in between the chip and the computer. I removed the bracket and flattened the edge, and duct taped the chip to the computer. No problems since then.
