Post Non-L question for Detroit area owners

My sister just got a new house with a beautious fireplace. I want to help her with some wood for it. Is there anyone around the metro area that can hook me up with some free wood to give her. I've got a 20" chainsaw to cut it up. It can be seasoned or green. Never hurts to ask. I could drive pretty far to get it.

You're a nice guy.

I'd just tell MY sister to spend the $90 and have it delivered. If she didn't have the money, I'd lend it to her. I wouldn't put a load of wood in MY baby!

Soory, but I don't have any idea where to find wood in the wilds of Detroit.
