First Time out The Absorber Sucks!
My wife bought me the Absorber for Christmas because people were bragging about it on a radio show. I have to say it soaks up more water than my cheap imitation chamois but on a black truck no streaking or dirty water spots is a must. I thought at first it was because the truck had been so dirty. I pulled out the cheap chamois then wiped and the dirty water spots were gone. I went back over the same spot with the Absorber and there they were again. the Absorber wasn't dirty because I just started using it. Needless to say I finished with the cheap chamois.

Try washing the Absorber in the sink with some good detergent. I think that should help. I use them with pretty good results. I was tired of the bits of leather chamois left after the aged. These have have up well for over 3 or 4 years now.

LTNBOLT,
Your Absorber is BRAND NEW. It has to be broke-in first. It WILL absorb a lot better once it's used a/2 times, Just wring it out several times it will come around. I bought a Absorber in 1989 and I STILL use it. One corner has a small fray in it but it works like a charm. Now I use the California Water blade. I whisk off the water is 1/3 the time and no more dragging the Absorber over the entire truck.
