Angry holy s**t

Got my DMV renewal in the mail today. $553. You coulda knocked me over. Not due for a couple of months. I guess they wanted to give me time to apply for a loan. Dang, I know this truck sucks money, but this one blindsided me.

Whats the big fuss?
In Oregon it registration costs $30 for 2 years. Whether its a Ferrari or a Pinto, the fees are the same. Ok now I will duck before all the tomatoes hit me. sorry guys I just couldn't resist telling you that! Sorry to hear about the fees your paying...as far as I'm concerned that is total B*llSh*t!

Dont want to **** anyone off...but in DE I am lucky to pay 20 bucks a year, and also have 2 years between inspections.
The perfect place for Empty Pockets Racing racers.

I would rather have a frontal lobotomy than live in California just kidding...I lived at Vandenburg AFB from 1968 thru 1972...the kids burned Isla Vista College in Santa Barbara...the big earthquake that knocked down the hospital in LA..the Patti Hurst Krap...Jane Fonda's cronies...visited our Junior High...blah..blah..blah..

They charge $1 for inspections up here, and now I think its $200 for 2 years for registration. I think I am going to have my windows tinted nice and dark, then go in and get it re-registered. Then I'll probably get a ticket for illegal tint. I'll then tell the judge I passed inspection, they charged me $1 to inspect my truck. In the real world, they dont really go out and inspect your truck. Thats the problem.

How far do you think the judge will throw that argument?

Alphadoggy,
I feel your pain. When I came into the DMV to get my initial tags they wanted 2000!! They said I hadn't paid sales tax (which I know I had) it would have been 1080 without the state sales tax. Out here you have to pay city, local, and state taxes. I bet they are gonna tax us to walk down the street before too much longer!

Oh yeah, since the wife is still in the military she got to get tags from TN, $40!

WOW thats allot, I wonder what mines going to be. I can't wait to go for emmisions to see if this bassani passes. HAHAHAHA, it better. My father lives in indiana and when he got his new car (99 mercedes s500, piece of chit) his registration was sick as hell. like 1.5 %of the cars value or something. I'm not sure of the actual amount, but it made me faint.
