Anybody know what kinda times this car is gonna be runnin, is it gonna be faster than the cobra?

The Bullitt will not be faster than the Cobra!! The Bullitt is only at 280hp! Don't know the torque. The 1/4 mile times are still hush,hush! We have three in the building I work at. It looks good close up!

very good question. its not intended to be, but if the 2001 cobra isn't running where it should be, it will be slower than the bullitt. (although i am banking on SVT finally getting the cobra right).

the bullitt will be 275-285 hp at least, with more torque and better suspension than the GT. if the new 260 hp GTs are on the brink of 13s stock, the bullitt will be there for sure.

RUMOR has it all of next years GTs get the bullitt engine standard, before the major change for the 2003-2004 mustang. but who knows with ford.

Bone stock, fully loaded '01 GT w/ 5-spd. ran 13.7 @ 100.xx mph this last Friday night in Houston. I know this b/c its a friend of mine. Consistent 13.7-13.9s all night.

The Bullitt should be a bit quicker. The Cobra _should_ run low-13s at 105+, but we'll see. When the car is actually built and actually running right, THEN I'll believe it.
