I'd like to get any suggestions on what to do with my 01 when i get her. I’ve spent countless hours sifting through the thousands of posts on mods. I've read the FAQ over and over but im afraid it may be outdated. So i thought i'd start a new tread so I can get the latest on all the mods available. I think im gona go the Tundra style and keep my baby chipless (too many horror stories). Im not plannin on gettin into hardcore racing but I'd like to be able to blow the doors off the occasional Z28. Im planing on spending 4 or 5 Gs on both performance and appearance mods..
I’ve seen a few new people get torn new ones for this kind of post but i hope ya’ll will take in easy on me.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

 

stock you will tear the doors off a z-28...stock you will tear the doors off of a slightly modded 5.0 (by 6 cars if you were in my L). JDM has great products. Jim and Spiro are developing the 01 chips real soon. They also offer other great products. You can't go wrong with a product that is first tested on their own L.

Yoda, Your probably right but if there's not a significant gain with a chip on the 01's I won't mess with it.
