Whipple Time.

Well, I did it...

I called up Whipple and ordered a black wipple right from them... Got a good deal on it too...

Tomorrow I am going to order my Injectors, plugs, fuel pump, fuel pump Y, and base tune from motion dynamics in Austin...

With a proper tune, I can run 450-475RWHP all day long?

I just passed 50K mile on it... and don't want to rebuild the bottome end until I get 100K hopefully..

I have my stock bottom pulley, and then I also have a 4lber and a 6lber..

is the 6lber too much with the whipple? I hear everybody telling me the 4lber will put me 455-465RWHP.. this is my goal...

thanks all for all your help...

4lb lower and 3.375 upper will put you at 14-16lbs of boost. This is as far as I would go on a stock block.

As for numbers, I've seen anywhere from 450-510. Good luck and let us know how it comes out.

oh, and don't forget the MAF!

3.375 upper and 4lber put me at 455rwhp..(Street Tune)
3.375 upper and 6lber put me at 509rwhp.(Race Tune)
Both were rainy days so you may get better numbers than that..
Congrats... You won't be sorry you bought the Whip that's forsure....
This run is with a 6lber with race tune and gas

we shall see....

I am excited, but a little nervous... its alot of money, and I hope I don't blow my engine... I need a real good tuner, but I live in SA and there are no good L tuners here... I found one in Austin, but I want a safe conservative tune, but still be at over 450RWHP... i am paying this much money for it....

I am just really nervous and anxious at the same time....

hopefully I can get this swapped... I have a big air 2800, but i Ithink its too much... I want a 2400, but I already bought it before hand.... I think im gonna try to tune with the 2800 first and see how it goes...

Some people say they can tune around the idle issues... Personally, I don't want Idle issues... so, If anybody here wants a trade from a 2400 to a 2800, or even trade me the 2800 for a mafia xtender... who knows... I am open to ideas....

A good tuner won't have a problem with the 2800
