I/C & SUPERCHARGER replaced by dealer?
On the 14th of Feb., took my 99L to the dealer to have the leaky intercooler (IC) replaced. Today, the dealer called me to say they were also going to replace the supercharger (SC) with a new SC. Is it common practice for the dealer to put in a new SC for the many of us that have had leaky ICs? If so, why. Any response on this would be greatly appreciated.

They also replaced my SC when the intercooler was done (also the plugs, oxygen sensors).

Another possibility is they are using a 2001 intercooler...

Well, that's good to know. I think I'll demand one.(Supercharger too) Hopefully, it will be the whole updated kit & kabootle.
BTW, I think mine has started leaking. It seems to have lost 1/8" in the last couple of weeks with 8,700 miles on the clock. I have a gut feeling that if my pressure cap were holding pressure, the level would be much lower....If anyone has tried to avoid this crappy problem, it's me.
