Hi everybody. Im new here at the forum and my name is Sigmund Ivar. I bougth my L brand new in May 2003 and have been upgradet all the way sinse then. My best ET is 11,118@125,5 here in Norway 2005,it was with my Kennebell 2,3 and 19 psi and 130 Hk shoot have not been on the track sins.Most of the parts on my truck is from JLP and som from JDM.Right now i`m Ready to put in my brand new JLP bilt GT 40 raceblock with raceheads.
Since last year i have been fokust on less weight and a whole new Autronic engine management system. Compushft take care of the modifide 4R100. I will take it to the dyno within 3 weeks,and hopefully get some serious RWHP/Ft p.

Thank you Rob. The truck have going through big changes since i was on the stripp last time. I will post dyno numbers as soon as posible whithin 3 weeks or something.

I know i am the fastest in Norway but who is the fastest outside the US ? It would be intresting to know.

The compushift is a fulyprogram able system for the 4R100.It comes with komplet wiring harnes and a lcd panel so you have control on shift time, converter lockup,temp,linepres,rpm,rpm,tcc enable speed, tps% and even clock and stop watch +++
It is ease to program for street or dragrace.

I am not a daily driver but not faraway,my truck has all the stock equipents as AC ,heather, sound system,alarm,cruise control and its fully useable at the street. thats the point.
My autronic engine control system works great,i use only 1 program on street/dragrace.
At the street i use 93 octan pump gas but when the nitrus are used at the strip the Autronic change the engine setup automaticly for full racesetting (C 16 race fuel)
It works just great but have to be done on dyno ofcourse.

We have quite a few European based Lightnings on there and try to do as many shows and race meets as possible.

 

Ricki's comment was directed at me Siggen, my truck is officially the Worlds Fastest Supercharged Lightning. The last pass the truck made before I bought it was made by a ringer (Evan Smith from Muscle Mustang Fast Fords Magazine) 9.742 @ 138.76 MPH (VIDEO HERE)

Although I didnt really plan on ever running 9's myself, the first pass I ever made in it was a very surprising (OK AMAZING) 9.9 (VID HERE)

There's faster Turbo L's out there (most are Race Track Only L's), Dave London has ran his streetable SC L to a 9.8 with his old set up, soon to be bigger and badder. So to answer your question my truck with Evan driving still officially holds the record at 9.742 @ 138.76 MPH set on 11/20/06, (I am very surprised no ones beat it "yet")

As for mine,
Mine's a normal weight "plus" Lightning with no cooling tanks, no batt relocate, (stock suspension with QA-1's and Drag springs). JDM Built+Tuned with a BTS Tranny. I drive it to and from the track, swap tires and rims, and run... I also drive it each and every day (weather permitting) to and from work, around town, you name it... I also use 93 Octane on my 24/7 street program and C-16 on my Race/Nitrous Tune. I hit it with 100HP of n20 but for only 4 sec's of the run. Mine is set up like this
I floor it.....
For 1/2 second I have nothing (1/2 second delay so I can dig in)
Then "Start Power" is 50% (50HP since I use 100HP jets)
For the next 1.5 seconds it builds from 50% (or HP) to 100% (or HP)
So now 2 seconds into the run I am now at 100HP
6 seconds into the run I have it set to go to Stage 2 and drop to 40% (40HP)
SO in a 10.0 run I have 1/2 sec of nothing, 1.5 sec's of 50-100hp, 4 secs of 100HP and 4 secs of 40hp

To tell you the truth I hope I never spray it again, but the dam peer pressure around here is tuff

Well, I saw Ricki run an 11.17 in the summer into a headwind and Siggy there is claiming an 11.11 so it looks like the Norwegian is in the lead so far.

As in my post above, we are racing again in a couple of weeks at a better track and it should be cool so I expect Ricki to get a 10,xx this time if the conditions are good.

So Ricki boy, you are No.2 for a few more weeks.
