Hi all have not been around for a while but still have my lightning.

Want to ask if any have had problems with there Original calipers the pin that holds the pads in my front driver side keeps slipping out half way well just one pin.

Have had the nascar 14mm rotor's replaced up front about 4 months ago and had my guy fix the problem with the pin than.

But it has come back since having my insepection done today.

I cant find a after market brake pad retaining pin if anyone has info where to get on internet LMK.

If anyone has had the same problem what was your fix?

Should i just upgrade to better calipers with better stopping power as i have to say these factory brake system sucks.

If you have any places on the web where i can buy better caliper's that will fit the 2001 stock nascar factory rotors that came with the truck LMK.

NASCAR rotors?

 

Our Trucks came with two differant rotors they changed to 14 mm in i think late 2000.

They are listed as Nascar rotors 14 mm for the lightning.
