Dang, i can't get thelight switch out!???

Question Dang, i can't get thelight switch out!???

I read all the posts and looked at the posted pics. i must ding something wrong, i dont want to break the dand thing. Any ideas???

Having just removed mine for the trade in, it is fresh in my mind. Remove the 7mm screw below the panel that has the switch in it. Also pop off the panel that goes around the steering column (above it). Under that is another 7mm screw to the right of the light switch panel. Remove it as well.

Now pry open the the light switch panel at the gap on the left side of the switch. Where it wraps around the corner of the entire dash. You only need about a 1/4" space. You can push a medium length flat screw driver in there up against the silver tang that holds the left side of the switch in. Push the tang in and try to push the whole switch assembly out at the same time. It will twist out if done correctly.
