Need 12v feed from headliner and--

Need 12v feed from headliner and--

I have my radar stuck on the center top of windshield and was thinking that it would be nice to connect it to a (switch-on) 12v supply up there --- maybe the temp gauge or direction indicator.

I guess the question is, how does that unit come out, I don't want to tear it up.

You could run your 12v feed from the in-cab fuse panel up the a-pillar and through the little canal in the roof under the head liner. Then you wouldn't have to tap into the temp/compass pod on the roof. I did this when I installed my line lock switch in my sun glasses holder.
