I'm not sure what you mean about the "cap on your beds rim"
Yes to those who asked about the mudflaps. That is indeed what they are. I know that is a sin, etc, etc. BUT, if you guys lived in Phoenix and used your Lighting as a daily driver, you would understand why I put them on. The roads here are covered with tons of little rocks and pebbles all over the place. Every car I have every owned becomes rock chipped down the side and looks absolutely terrible. Believe me, the mudflaps look alot better than having rock chips all down the side of the vehicle. Plus the other thing they do here in Phoenix is instead of tear up the asphalt and completely replace, they just rock and tar over the existing and let the cars inbed the rocks into the new surface. They just did it on the main street just outside of my neighborhood.
