My girlfriend just picked her new 01 supercharged saleen S281 5 speed convertible from the dealer last Monday. The weather here has been real crap. I took her out in my L today and she kept telling me she wants to race. Seeing those numbers and her not being used to it. I'll have to get a bet on this one!

I went to the shop where she has it stored! It sounds healthy. Sticker on the window is $48,000 & some change. I'll post the results of the race, after i win. he,he.

Got the new 5.0 Mustang and just wanted post some of the infor for you guys.
The S281 with the supercharger in Mag cost $43,133 & ran 13.48 @ 107.19 with 365 HP. The S281 without the supercharger cost $33,749 and ran 13.9992 @ 100.04 with 285 HP.

The Steeda with 380 hp cost $25,000 over the price of the car. There were no et.s only est. of low 13's to high 12's. We are now talking $50,000 to do what a lot of us guys are already running.

All of this just makes our trucks look better. There is a guy here in Lafayette that has a S281 with the supercharger and it is a great looking and sounding ride. BUT he shows no interest in stepping out on the street with me to see if he can bag the ole red and yellow truck.

Last year people used to meet up in milford on tuesdays. At times there were about 10 + L's there. I heard some weeks there were more. It was pretty fun there is a car show there every tuesday night.

I know the place! "Bakers," I think! On Milford rd. I used to play softball behind it. They did away with the fields. Two of my bud's take their mopars out there on Tuesdays. One is a Yellow 68 HEMI road runner and the other is a Blue 68 GTX 440. Can't wait to race them this year! Let me know when you go!!
