Rings are a funny thing and until you see exactly what happen it's going to be a mistery. JDM builds amazing motors and you as said you got years of fun out of it, once you get a better look at it hopefully you'll have your answers and an inexpensive fix

Thanks Rob. I spoke to Jim III today just to get his and his fathers opinion on what they think happened. I made sure I told him right off the bat that I am in no way pointing fingers at them or questioning their engines. I think they build some of the best engines around and I still love mine even though it's wounded right now. JDM is good peeps and I may even be sending my heads to them for some work.
