Dear 01Black-SVT,

Wow, I must have inadvertently stricken a sore nerve of inadequacy there!

Obviously you didn't check out the aforementioned thread to understand that I was merely recounting what had happened before.

For the record, I never said 17 year-olds are worthless. Not in this thread, and not anywhere else for that matter.

As for the eloquent "your an idiot" post (quoted below to aid your recollection), you'd do well to take at least one English grammar class. While you're at it, take some reading comprehension classes, and when you've finally mastered the basics, we might be able to intelligently converse.

Frans your an idiot, I'v only been on this bored for about 20 days I haven't had time to read all the post's, so their for I DID not know that people have already done this Sorry for trying to have a little fun.
Oh and my dad did NOT buy my truck for me, I guess 17 year old's haveing a good job and saveing money is weird to you. heh

Regards,
Frans

Ps. If you aren't a native English speaker, please ignore my "grammar class" comment.

Come on Frans, don't be so hard on the kid, lol.
I'm a little curious, as to what kind of job you have and if you pay for your truck and the insurance. Not trying to pinch any nerves or anything, just curious.
I mean, I'm 19 and just bought an '01 Gt Stang. I was thinking about the Lightning, but I don't think I could have afforded both the truck and the insurance.

Unhappy

Joseph Conrad and Vladimir Nabokov, just to name a couple, were not native English speakers, but they did not do too badly with the language. They were probably able to differentiate bored from board and your from you're without help from their editors. I didn't know that flipping burgers paid well enough to make the payments on a Lightning, but perhaps I am out of touch. I'm sure some snot nosed 16 year old will be glad to straighten me out, though.

36 years. My thinking is that if you are going to fly off the handle and call people names, run a spell check and a grammar check so you aren't the one who comes off like an id...

I am 25. Just wondering what kind of job a 16 to 18 year old could have to afford a $32000 truck? I had a descent job from the age of 18, and still had to wait till 21 to afford a Mustang GT. You guys probably still live at home!
