Thumbs up Just installed my new JDM chip n' filter on my 01L

Seat of the pants meter is off the scale! I opted for the street program and the 12" big mouth filter. The service was top-notch. I talked to Rob several days ago to order. He had to burn the chip and the filters were due in the next day. I called him the next day and he said he'd burned the chip, received the filters but the aluminum filter adapters didn't make it. I told him that I was really hoping for it to come in asap as I was planning to go the the strip this weekend. w-e-l-l.. he dug up an adapter from somewhere and sent me the whole sha-bang next day air at no additional cost! This setup really rocks. First thing I noticed that my previous 8 pounds of boost now is way off the boost gauge scale to probably between 11 and 12 lbs. It acts as if it's a new truck. I can't believe the new found HP I've realized. I'll try to get some track and dyno runs for everyone. I don't own a G-Tech so no worries there....LOL. Rob and JDM get a big thumbs up. I don't know what's going on with them, Spiro and JL but I'm very pleased with their products and service. BTW no pinging or detonation...at all.

The crankcase program isn't ready yet... Rob'll let us know when it's perfected for the 01s. I too didn't get the bracket. Rob said he'd ship it Monday so I guess that would make it Weds too when I get it. I'll install the bracket on the filter then. Man, that's one big a$$ed filter. I can't stop grinning!

Rob said I was the first one to get the chip with a crankcase breather for a 01. Called me the guinea pig!

Great to hear, Undy.

Doesn't surprise me at all to hear your impressions of what a good chip does. It honestly IS like a completely different truck. Made me a real believer out of these chips.

Anyway, keep us informed if you get to the track!!
