Question Snugrug on the Snuglid??

Is it worth the extra 65 bones?? What does the inside of the lid look like w/o? Can I get some similar material and glue it under the lid?
Thanks

It is worth the $70 I paid . You dont have the white fiberglass showing and it looks good with a sprayin bed liner or a bed rug .

I did the lid myself using car from Home Depot. Similar to that used for speaker boxes. Cost was $1.80 per ft )6' wide). Including glue total cost $25. Cut around the rubber seal

Go with the carpet. i had both. my first lid had a defect so they ordered me another with the carpet. The bare fiberglass looks realllllyyyyyy bad. My friends that saw both are glad that i got the carpet. and these are the same people that think its ridicules to spend so much on trucks.

Hilander: What cover and rug is that? I just bought my L, so I am new to this whole truck thing. That looks so nice and that is exactly what I a looking for? Is the lid easy to install or does it require a professional? Does it coe painted?
Thanks for helping the newbie out.

Cool

DadsBlownToy
Thank,s The Lid is by Snuglid & the rug is a Bedrug. I orderd mine at the same time, had the snuglid carpeted on the underside from the factory. I also had a no holes clamp system. The lid comes in standard factory colors. The shop fitted everything for me at no extra charge. I watched and it looked pretty simple. A two man job for the Lid though. I am very happy with the result. The Lid can be removed in a few mins if required.
The bedrug is very cool, nice and soft/plush but made from marine grade carpet. Count on dropping around 1000.00 for the set. Good luck with your new toy
