95cobra are u sure they are 20 x 9. 9 would be too narrow. a 20 inch would require around a 315 30 tire to keep the same ratio. That would need about a 10.5 wheel. I believe.

Sorry, I should have been more specific.
They "would" look like that because they are not real.
I used a little Photoshop here. However you were able to get them so I'm sure they will look awesome. Please post real pix when installed. I'd love to see them.
Sorry for the confusion.

KOBIASHI, Hey do not be sorry! I had a feeling that was happening because I did not think the rims where out yet. but it is as good as looking at them on the truck. thanks. I work in photoshop 5.5 everyday because I am in the desktop publishing/color printing business. nice job. later 95rcobra.

1QKPKUP, Yes the rims are 20x9 but I do not know how accurate you are figuring the tire size. I know the 20" harley wheel uses a 275-45-20 which matches the 18" tire size on the L. but I am not sure on the width of that wheel. I will have to look into it and let you know. thanks 95rcobra.

1QKPKUP, Also you can go to www.tirerack.com and they sell a MODA 20x9 inch wheel for the lightning and the tire size recommended to use is 295-40-20. so this lightning wheel at 20x9 should be OK for the L. thanks 95rcobra.

Actually, a 295/35/20 would be closer in height than a 40 series.
295/45/18 = 28.45"
295/40/20 = 29.29" +2.95% error
295/35/20 = 28.13" -1.12%
305/35/20 = 28.41" -0.14%
In case some of you don't know how to calculate tire dimensions:
295mm / 25.4 mm/inch = 11.61" section width
11.61"x.45 series = 5.22" tire height
5.22"x2 + 18" rim diameter = 28.45" overall height.

RT KILLA, Now that the wheels are almost on the L how about some tires. I am not so concerned about the cost but I want to put a 20 inch tire on the L that is gonna still give a nice ride but handle better than the F1's. The BFG gforce are showing the best specs for handling with the Dunlops and the Pirelli Zero's a close second. BFG's being the most expensive and the Pirelli's being the least costly. I do not want a 35 series tire because it is too low for the L. 40 should be fine. what do you think? thanks 95rcobra.

95 cobra sorry for butting in but the 305-35 20 would have and actual wall height very close to your stock 295-45 18 as RT calculated only -.14 total It would
keep your speedo pretty acurate and look really hot in that width(imo)

p.s. and the 315's would probably hook up really well and maybe corner a little better.

oops. sorry 95,I wasn't thinking right for a moment. Obviously the sidewall height would drop with the 35 and affect ride quality some, but you could run a little softer to comphensate. I think it would work great. What do u think RTKILLA?
